Jamie “C-4” Varner is a former WEC Lightweight Champion and current UFC fighter with a 21-9-1 record. With multiple Fight of the Night awards, including the Fight of the Year and Upset of the Year for 2012 against Edson Barboza, Varner has quickly become a fan favorite since first joining the UFC in 2006.

 

An Arizona native, Varner got his start in combat sports by wrestling and boxing in high school and college before becoming a professional MMA fighter in 2003. Varner currently owns Impact MMA in Scottsdale, Arizona and will next fight at UFC 173 on May 24, 2014 in Las Vegas.
